Mindfulness is the practice of being present and creating a relaxed and aware state of mind. It involves noticing and observing your thoughts and emotions without judgement. Mindfulness leads to benefits such as reduced stress, boosts to working memory, less emotional reactivity and less rumination (American Psychological Association). Research demonstrates its usefulness in allowing students to feel calmer and have elevated self-esteem and empathy. It can help students cope with symptoms of anxiety, depression or ADHD. In addition, it can reduce issues relating to conduct and anger management.

At Mindfit, we help students train their brain through mindfulness with stress management techniques, diaphragmatic breathing and progressive muscle relaxation promoting their long-term health and wellness, allowing them to deal with exam stress and other challenges with ease.
